Italian Adjustable Chrome Floor Lamp, 1960s

An Italian floor lamp from the 1960s: a polished chrome stem on a round black lacquered base, topped with a warm-toned fabric shade.

The stem adjusts in height, so the lamp can stand tall in a room or come down beside a low chair. Chrome against black lacquer is typical of Italian lighting of the decade.

Set the shade at eye level beside a reading chair or a deep sofa. The fabric shade gives a soft, even light.

Sourced in Italy, restored with care for preservation at our atelier in Rabat. Rewired with the original chrome foot switch retained; new fabric shade. Excellent condition.
