Gallery profile
Founded in 2017, Spirit Gallery was born from the eye and experience of Jonathan Amar, the French-Moroccan designer, collector and founder behind Jonathan Amar Studio.
The gallery presents a distinct collection of 20th-century design pieces, with a focus on Italian mid-century modern furniture, lighting and objects selected for proportion, craftsmanship, material quality and presence.

Our selection focuses on Italian design from the 1930s to the 1980s a period where experimentation, elegance and industrial craft shaped some of the most collectible forms of the 20th century.

Our story
A collector’s eye, a studio’s discipline
Spirit Gallery grew from Jonathan Amar’s decades of design practice, sourcing, restoring and presenting collectible pieces for private interiors and hospitality projects around the world.
Each object is selected with attention to proportion, presence and materiality, but also for its spirit, that quiet emotion a piece can bring into a room.
