Italian Brass and White Metal Tripod Floor Lamp in the Style of Stilnovo, 1950s

An Italian floor lamp from the 1950s, in the style of Stilnovo. A slender white lacquered shaft rises from a brass tripod base to a single fabric shade.

The brass is kept to the base and fittings, so the white stem reads as one clean vertical line. A restrained piece of Italian modernism, scaled for the side of an armchair.

The shade sits above shoulder height for a seated reader, so light falls onto the page without glare. Suited to a reading chair, a sofa end or a bedroom corner.

Sourced in Italy, restored with care for preservation at our atelier in Rabat. Excellent condition.
