An Italian coffee table in wood and glass, dating from the 1940s–50s and designed in the style of Cesare Lacca. The table is characterized by its angular wooden base, in which four tapering supports rise from splayed legs and meet at a central platform before extending outward to frame the top. The construction is precise and well balanced, giving the piece a strong geometric identity while maintaining a notable sense of lightness.
The inset glass top is decorated with etched corner motifs and linear detailing, introducing an artisanal decorative element that is typical of Italian furniture of the period. The contrast between the warm tone of the wood and the transparency of the glass gives the table clarity. Well suited as a coffee table or occasional table, it is a refined example of mid-century Italian design in the style of Cesare Lacca.
