A French doctor's floor lamp from the 1950s, made for the examination room. A steel stem on rollers carries an articulated arm and an aluminium shade.
Built to be moved and aimed, it has the plain, robust construction of French medical equipment of the period. The steel has been relacquered in purple.
The most precise reading light in the collection. The arm reaches from 42 to 112 cm and the head articulates, so light can be aimed straight onto a page, a desk or a drawing table.
Sourced in France, restored with care for preservation at our atelier in Rabat. Relacquered, in excellent condition.
